REM Etive

The Rem Etive is a modern, fuel efficient, DP2, multi-role dive support / construction vessel with specialised equipment installed to undertake the relevant services. The principal features are as follows:

  • A large 525 m² clear back deck plus Sat Dive Spread Mezzanine deck.
  • Large capacity, 140T, active heave compensated knuckle boom crane fitted with in excess of 2000m of wire rope.
  • A modern, well-appointed, accommodation module with a capacity for 96 personnel enables a full multi-disciplinary team to be carried offshore.
  • Excellent sea keeping capabilities.
  • Comprehensive NOPSA accepted safety case.

The 140T active heave compensated crane and large back deck are several of the key features that make the Rem Etive a versatile vessel, ideally suited to a wide range of diver and diverless offshore operations.

The vessel hull, based on the Marin Technikk MT6016 design, is a proven design that provides a stable platform in a wide range of weather conditions. This hull design is the basis for a wide range of construction vessels and PSV’s operating year round in the North Sea. At a local level, the Rem Etive has a proven track record of working around the region in difficult conditions with very little weather down time.

Additionally, a transit speed of around 12 – 13 knots means the vessel can transit from project to project or from port to site at speeds unmatched by most other DSV’s in the region.
